What can you expect from studying with me?
A student can expect to learn the basics of sound engineering, recording and mixing techniques, acoustics, music theory (harmony, orchestration and arrangement, rhythm and notation), songwriting and composition, depending on the student's own interests and preferences.
The topics discussed during the lessons will be applicable in any music software (DAW) such as Garage Band, Cubase, Pro Tools, Logic Pro and Ableton.
The lessons take place in English.
How does the start-up with a new student take place?
A new student can contact me privately and write me his personal musical interests, his expectations for the lessons and the topics he would like to learn, as well as his previous experience in composition, music theory and music technology.
Professional background
I have been working as a freelance music producer, sound recording engineer, mixing and mastering engineer for the past 7 years, and have released albums for various international record labels.
My specialization is acoustic music, which is why I often work with symphony orchestras, jazz groups, funk/rock and blues bands. I have a bachelor's and master's degree in "Tonemester" or Music Producer and Sound Technician from the Royal Danish Music Conservatory, a bachelor's degree in Jazz Guitar from the "Girolamo Frescobaldi" Conservatory in Ferrara (Italy) and a professional diploma in Sound Engineering from the APM Foundation in Saluzzo.
