Om Ugnė
I provide voice and music production lessons in English for students of all ages and levels — beginners, hobbyists, and advanced musicians. Lessons can be in person or online, and are fully tailored to your goals, whether you want to develop your voice, release a track, or experiment with sound.
About Me:
I’m a Lithuanian sound artist, composer, and performer, now based in Copenhagen. Under the name Davai Bėgam, I create experimental electroacoustic music, ambient pieces, hip hop-inspired vocal performances, and sound installations. I often work with field recordings and environmental sounds, turning everyday noise into music.
I hold a Bachelor’s in Music Technologies (Kaunas University of Technology), studied Electronic Music Composition in Thessaloniki, and am currently pursuing a Master’s in Composition at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen, focusing on vocals and electronics. I also continue classical singing training with a focus on Baroque music.
I’ve been singing since age six — in choirs, ensembles, and as a soloist — performing rock, folk, pop, and experimental music. My projects include the improvisational collective Kaunas Zoo, the electronic duo Voyajugne, the art-pop duo Shimmer, and my solo electronic and vocal work.
Teaching Philosophy:
Your voice is part of your body — subtle, powerful, and unique. I teach holistically, combining technique with breath, posture, and self-awareness. Every student is different, so lessons are tailored to your level, style, and goals. My aim is to help you discover what your voice can do, build confidence, and enjoy making music.
In electronic music, I combine technical skills with creative exploration. We can cover DAW workflow, composition, sound design, sampling, live performance, and more — while also developing your creative mindset: generating ideas, shaping your sound, and overcoming creative blocks.
What You Can Learn With Me:
* Singing: classical, folk, pop, rock, rap, or free improvisation; technique, ear training, breathing, and performance.
* Electronic Music & Production: recording, DAWs, arrangement, synthesis, sampling, and live performance.
